When it comes to learning English, we need to follow the learning path approved by the language scientists.

In this video, I'd like to talk about leveled readers, or fancy-uidushu.

One thing you need to know about them is, listening and speaking comes first.

Just think about it, when acquiring Chinese, their native language, first two years kids spend listening and learning how to speak.

When it comes to the second language, it's just the same logic.

English is something totally new for them, and they need to get used to hearing it, understanding what it sounds like, then start to speak, then learn the letters and sounds, and only after that, slowly approach reading.

More precisely, your kid needs to have at least 300-500 words in their passive vocabulary before they start to read.

Now with that being said, I recommend to start using leveled readers only after the stage called mordor, which includes all of the steps I just mentioned.
