【生活英文】『单恋』的英文要怎么说？
相信许多人都曾有过单恋的经验吧？苦苦思恋著对方，却无法得到同等的爱，这种感觉真的相当难受呢！今天就和小编来学学如何用英文表达这种情感吧！
单恋英文要怎么说
如果要表达「单恋」，简单一点的话我们可以说 one-sided love，one-sided 就是「单方面的」，是不是很好理解呢？
Radiohead’s “Creep” is a song about the pain and anxiety caused by one-sided love.（电台司令的 Creep 是一首关於单恋的痛苦和焦虑的歌。）
要表示「单恋某人」，也可以说 love someone one-sidedly，例如：
Lily loved Manny one-sidedly for several years.（Lily 单恋 Manny 好几年了。）
那要更专业一点，我们也可以用 unrequited love 来表示「单恋」，unrequited 就是「单方面的、得不到回报的」，例如：
Suffering unrequited love, Ben felt depressed and hopeless.（受到单恋所苦，Ben 感到忧郁又绝望。）
Is there any way to cure unrequited love?（有任何方式可以治疗单恋吗？）
Stop torturing yourself with unrequited love. Trust me, one day you will find someone who loves you as much as you love them. （别再单恋折磨自己了。相信我，有天你会找到像你爱他一样爱你的人。）
那我们要表示「单恋他人的人」，就可以说 unrequited lover，例如：
The protagonist of The Sorrows of Young Werther is an unrequited lover who committed suicide at the end of the story.（《少年维特的烦恼》的主角单恋著他人，最后在故事结尾自杀了。）
彼此相爱、喜欢对方
那 unrequited love 的相反就是 requited love「彼此相爱」，例如：
To many people, requited love is merely an impossible dream.（对许多人来说，彼此相爱根本是不可能的梦想。）
At first, we were just friends, but over time, our friendship gradually became requited love.（一开始，我们只是朋友，但逐渐地我们的友情变成了对彼此的爱。）
那英文也常会用 the feeling is mutual 来表示「有同样的感觉」，不过要注意，这不只会形容两人相爱，也可以形容两人讨厌、憎恨彼此喔。
A: I feel like I’ve fallen in love with you!（我觉得我爱上你了！）
B: The feeling is mutual.（我对你也有一样的感觉。）
My dad hated my husband, and the feeling was mutual.（我爸讨厌我老公，我老公也讨厌他。）
