【趣味英文】什么是 acquired taste？这样形容大人味美食！
大家应该都有那种小时候很讨厌，但长大后就喜欢上的食物吧！像是小编以前超讨厌大蒜，但现在觉得简直是人间美味…而最近广告也很流行用「大人味」来形容大人才懂的美食。那有没有类似的英文词汇，可以形容这些「慢慢才喜欢上的食物」呢？

还真的有唷！在英文中，如果我们说某食物是 an acquired taste，就表示你不是第一口就爱上那个食物，而是经年累月下，慢慢喜欢上的，它的英英解释为：a thing you do not but gradually learn to like（一个你不喜欢但渐渐学著喜欢的事物）。
那讲到这，大家心目中应该都有一些符合 acquired taste 的美食名单了吧。这边小编列举一些公认的 acquired taste，看看你中了几个：alcohol 酒精、anchovy 鳀鱼、caviar 鱼子酱、coffee 咖啡、olive 橄榄、sushi 寿司、kimichi 泡菜。
